Universal Music Canada / MCA / CORE Records artist Josh Ross is carving out his own lane in modern country music. Born in Canada and now based in Nashville, Ross first gained attention through a string of independent releases before breaking through with his debut EP, Complicated. The project earned him his first JUNO Award in 2025 for Country Album of the Year.
Complicated featured the hit single “Trouble,” which reached Double Platinum status in Canada and was certified Gold by the RIAA in the United States. Building on that momentum, Ross notched four #1 singles at Canadian country radio before achieving a major career milestone with “Single Again,” his first #1 on U.S. Country radio in 2025. With that achievement, he became the first male Canadian country artist in nearly 30 years to top the U.S. Country Airplay chart.
Ross continues to rise with the release of Later Tonight, a 15-track collection that highlights both his emotional depth and songwriting versatility. Collaborating with industry heavyweights like Ashley Gorley and Ryan Hurd, the project further cements his place as one of country music’s most exciting emerging
artists. His latest single “Hate How You Look” is currently climbing the charts sitting inside the top 30 as of 3/20/26.
Having already shared the stage with superstars such as Luke Bryan and Jelly Roll, Josh Ross is just getting started—and quickly becoming a name to watch in country music.
